Our mission

Civic Peace is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the empowering people to address a wide variety of social, peace and security issues. Through community organizing and civic education, we seek to strengthen civil society and build a stronger democracy in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, where all citizens are able to participate in the decisions that govern their lives.

Civic Peace will assist citizens in finding new and innovative ways to deal with questions of human rights, environmental protection, energy security, and social justice.

Our activism is predicated on the idea that a strong society is a well-functioning and peaceful society, working in tandem with government to promote understanding and improve the well-being of all people.
